Caroline seemed to know what the gift was even before she opened it to gleefully find handmade dress from Nana with strawberry buttons at the shoulders. Hannah also seemed to have a good idea what was in box before she opened it. She ripped apart wrapping paper and box only to pause in shock when she saw a dress laying within the soft layers of tissue paper. One tonsil revealing wail exposed the source of her disillusionment: "But I wanted a puppy!"
